We accept booking reservations when provided with a VISA and Master Card number. (No charges are placed on the card until the reservation has been confirmed in writing)
VISA or Master Card use, is also accepted as payment for the total rental amount, accidental damage waiver Protection and processing fee.
Rentcottage.com is a Registered Travel Agency, licensed by the Province
of Ontario. By law we are required to place all funds we collect in a
Travel Industry Trust Account. These funds are insured and protected by
the Travel Industry Compensation Fund.
Cottage Booking Deposit:
A booking deposit is required with all rental applications. The booking
deposit is one third of the total rental amount, plus a processing fee
of $95.00. If more than one cottage is being applied for, then the
average booking deposit amount will be used.
Final Cottage Payment:
All final payments are due 30 days prior to the start of the rental period.
Last Minute Cottage Rentals:
All bookings made less than 30 days prior to the rental period must be accompanied by the total rental amount
including the security deposit. For rentals starting in less than 20 days, a certified check or payment by Credit Card is required.
Cottage Security Deposits:
Rentcottage.com charges a $75.00 Damage Waiver Fee for each booking.
The damage waiver fee provides $3000 of coverage for accidental damage
at the cottage during your stay, it replaces the cash security deposit
we use to charge.
