This 750 square foot, 3 bedroom cottage located on the Trent River, near Rice Lake and an easy 30 minute drive from Peterborough.

stove/oven, microwave and counter space for your meal preparation

a 40" TV with Blu Ray DVD player for your entertainment.
A beautiful sunroom stretches across the river side of the cottage.
Large windows provide panoramic views of the Trent River. Curl up
with a book on one of the two couches provided.
The cottage has three bedrooms, each with a window to let in the
breeze on a summer day. One bedroom offers a queen size bed, bedroom
two has a double and bedroom three has one set of bunk beds. The
bathroom is a four-piece with tub/shower combination.
The kids will enjoy the ample yardspace on the river side of the
cottage to play and run around. The lawn goes right to the shore
of the Trent River where there is gradual entry into the water.
The base of the river is rock. The river is popular for fishing
or for paddling and the cottage comes with the use of a kayak and
paddles and boat with oars.
For avid boaters and anglers, Rice Lake offers excellent fishing
of perch, bass, muskie, walleye and more. There are various marinas
and boat rentals around the lake so the drive time varies. There
is however, a marina with dock and boat launch in the community
of Peterborough if you wish to bring your own boat.
Peterborough, with its shops, restaurants and entertainment is
just a 20 minute drive north. Check out the Ganaraska Forest for
treetop trekking or hiking activities in the area, or stop by The
Canadian Canoe Museum for some History.
