This child friendly, three bedroom waterfront cottage is located
on the shores of Eagle Harbour on Lake Huron. This cottage is a
perfect getaway for both relaxation and outdoor activities within
a breathtaking environment.
Thoroughly renovated in 2015 with the addition of a two piece bath
and sunroom, large deck and all new plumbing. The cottage is finished
in natural tongue and groove pine. The living room has a large window
providing a view of the lake. The living area boasts an efficient
woodstove, providing added warmth to the cottage on a cool evening.
This room also has a couch, arm chair, bench, TV, satellite receiver,
DVD, and a CD player. WIFI is also provided.
Leading off the living area is an updated galley kitchen, which
is well equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster,
coffee maker and ample counter and cupboard space. An ultraviolet
water filter provides safe drinking water.
The dining table sits in between the kitchen and living area and
seats six comfortably for meals. It also provides a lovely view
of the lake.
The white-washed sunroom might just be your favourite place at the
cottage. Sneak away from the rest of the group and enjoy a room
full of natural light filtering through the trees. A sectional couch
and chair are located here to enjoy a nice conversation in the evenings
before the kids go to bed.
The cottage has three bedrooms; the first has a queen bed and the
second has a double bed. The third has two single beds. Each bedroom
has a nice sized window.
The two bathrooms were completely rebuilt in 2015. One is a three
piece with a shower and the other a two-piece with a sink and toilet,
located off the master bedroom.
The new lakeside deck at the cottage is a wonderful place to relax,
read, and eat your meals while watching the waves roll in. This
deck has patio furniture for your relaxation, including a table
that seats 6 with a large umbrella for shade.
The flat shoreline is protected by 3 small islands which block the
waves and allow for shallow entry into the lake making it a safe
place for kids to swim and to launch the kayaks. The lake water
is amazingly clear for excellent snorkeling. For more water fun,
the cottage comes equipped with two sit in kayaks. Swim shoes are
recommended. Interested in a leisurely cycle? Three adult bicycles
are here for your enjoyment.
