Turquoise Bay Cottage is a beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom, waterfront cottage located on Cape Hurd at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula. It is a perfect place for your family to play, laugh and make wonderful memories.
The main living area is bright and open. There are two very large
windows, which give a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Huron. The
open concept living room/dining area is a perfect place to gather
and relax while looking out at the sailboats as they pass by. The
living room furnishings include a couch, loveseat and an armchair,
a 32-inch, flat screen TV, Blu Ray DVD player and a stereo with
CD player. There is unlimited Internet for your convenience and Apple TV/
Netflix. There is ample room at the dining table, which seats 6
comfortably. The newly renovated kitchen area is fully equipped
with tons of cupboard space, a fridge, stove, oven and microwave.
There are three bedrooms at this cottage. Two have queen size beds
and the third bedroom has twin beds. The large bedroom facing away
from the lake has a patio door that opens out onto an intimate deck
where you can sit in the early sun and have your morning coffee.
This deck has 4 chairs and a small table. The lakeside bedroom has
an ensuite with a sink and toilet. This bedroom also has a large
patio door that opens out to the lakeside deck and a breathtaking
view of Lake Huron. The main 4 piece bathroom has a tub and shower.
Trees surrounding the cottage provide a lovely private setting.
There are three decks on the property. The large partially covered
lakeside deck has plenty of seating allowing you to sit back and
appreciate the turquoise waters and the exquisite sunset views.

6. It is a wonderful place to eat your meals while watching the
waves rolls in. A beautiful view of Lake Huron and the evening sunsets
are a sight to behold from this deck!
If you wish an alternate place to enjoy your morning or afternoon beverage, visit the shoreline deck. A unique, wooden boardwalk bridge with a railing makes it easy for all ages to go from the cottage down to the waterfront deck. The waterfront deck has chairs for you to relax after a swim on a hot sunny day.
The shoreline is lovely with pools of water and limestone outcroppings. The shore provides a great place for young children to swim and play as it gently slopes into the water.The lake water is amazingly clear and snorkelling to the “Cascaden” shipwreck a short distance offshore is an experience. When you think it can't get any better, return to the lakeside deck for a beautiful summer sunset in front of the cottage.
Once night falls, take the time to have a bonfire in the fire pit,
sing songs, roast marshmallows for smores and enjoy the amazing
stars in the Bruce Peninsula sky.
Tobermory is short distance away (9 km). You can stroll through the shops, visit the library, restaurants and see the beautiful natural harbour. Scenic boat cruises to view shipwrecks and lighthouses are available daily and a trip to Flowerpot Island is a must for all who visit! Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular and if that's not to your liking, there are many places to eat in town where you can watch the beautiful boats and converse with friends.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream come true. Guided tours along the Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Dorcas Bay on Lake Huron are available a 10-minute drive away. Amphitheater programs presented at Cyprus Lake by Parks Canada staff are informative and entertaining for all ages.
