Lonely Island Public Beach

Treat your family to a vacation in this well equipped 1670 sq. foot, 3 bedroom cottage situated a short drive from the shores of Lake Huron near Oliphant. Built on a large 2 acre well treed lot this cottage offers plenty of privacy for your vacation.
The entire cottage is on the upper level. When you enter the front door of the cottage you will immediately notice the floor to ceiling windows surrounding the gas fireplace in the living room. These windows offer a scenic view of the large back yard and mixed growth forest at the rear of the cottage. The living room is furnished with a comfortable love seat and couch for relaxing in front of the large 51" HD TV equipped with satellite and BluRay DVD.
There is a formal dining area to the right of the entrance with seating for 4 and floor to ceiling windows that offer plenty of light.
The kitchen is situated to the right of the living room. This is a modern open concept kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar and harvest table to seat 6. The kitchen has up to date stainless appliances and is fully equipped. There is access to the upper covered deck where you can use the propane barbecue.
This cottage has three bedrooms, each furnished with a queen sized bed.
Bedroom one has access to one of the two 4 piece bathrooms which has a
jacuzzi tub and double sink vanity. The second 4 piece bath has tub with
The large back yard is a great place for children to run and play. There is a large fire pit for roasting marshmallows and family gatherings as well as a lower covered patio where you can escape the rain and wind if needed.
The cottage is central to many activities in the area. Sauble Beach is only 10km if you feel like a beach day. There is a small inland lake and campground close by that offers boat rentals and fishing on Spry Lake. Bruce Peninsula National Park with its world class visitors' center and hiking trails is less than an hour away if you're looking for a family day trip. While you're there visit the popular village of Tobermory and take a ride on a glass bottom boat to view the shipwrecks.
