Welcome to Hope Bay!! Our waterfront cottage is located on the shore of Hope Bay on Georgian Bay.
The spectacular view of the bay is framed by the stunning cliffs of the Niagra Escarpment and is just one of the many great features of this cottage.
This 1300 sq. ft. cottage has an open concept living, dining and kitchen with views that look out onto the bay. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and amenities to help you prepare your favourite meals during your stay. The 4 piece bathroom has recently been renovated and has a claw foot bathtub as well as a stand alone shower. There is also a laundry room for your convenience.
The 2 bedrooms are spacious. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed as well as a single cot. The other bedroom has a double bed.
Outside the 225 ft long lot is nicely landscaped with mature trees and flower gardens. The trees provide a sense of privacy while you enjoy your time outdoors. Relax on the patio in the 2 Muskoka chairs as you enjoy your morning coffee. The deck at the waters edge is a must for outdoor dining!! This table set seats 6 as does the dining table on the patio. The propane barbeque is available for the grill master who likes to 'q' those easy summer meals.
If you feel the need for some activity the possibilities
are endless. The world famous Bruce Trail is located just outside
the door for the explorers who want to seek out spectacular views
from the top of the Escarpment. Also, there are 4 bicycles you can
use to ride the road around the shoreline in Hope Bay and familiarize
yourself with this great community. And when you need a break from
the heat, go for a swim!! The sandy bottom and gradual slope allows
for easy, accessible swimming. There are a few patches of small
stones, so bring your water booties. A 2 seater kayak and lifejackets
are also provided for your use.
When the sun goes down the opportunity to view the
night sky is possible due to the Dark Skies Biosphere Project that
is a part of the Bruce Peninsula. See how many constellations you
can pick out.
The Bruce Peninsula offers many opportunities to get
out and explore. Day trips to Tobermory for sight seeing the Fathom
Five National Park is a must do! The beaches of the Lake Huron Shore
are fun to explore. Lion's Head and Wiarton have Farmer's Markets
once a week. Fresh or smoked local fish can also be purchased in
