Welcome to this beautiful 1300 sq ft cottage, located right on the shores of Lake Huron. The cottage is nestled in amongst the trees, with amazing views of the lake.
The main living area of the cottage boasts cathedral ceilings as well as lake side windows with a view out to the yard and the shoreline beyond. The living area has two large ceiling fans to keep this area comfortable. In the main living area you'll find a sectional sofa, three arm chair's to relax in while you are entertained by the TV and DVD player located in the living room. There is also a beautiful gas fireplace in this area, to take the chill off those cool fall evenings.
Adjacent to the living area is the eat-in kitchen. The kitchen is complete with stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, to make clean up a breeze. There is a dining room table to comfortably seat all six in your party.
Up just a few stairs are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and a nice sized window and closet. Bedroom two and three each also have a Queen bed. All bedrooms have large ceiling fans.
The four piece bathroom is located down this same hallway. Laundry Facilities are also provided at the cottage.
The cottage is surrounded by trees which provides a private setting. There is a large wooden deck over-looking Lake Huron. A hot tub can be enjoyed on this deck, as you relax after a day of outdoor activities. Linger with your morning coffee on this deck in the warmth of the morning sun and protected from the winds off Lake Huron.
The owner has constructed an elevated walkway making a safe and easy way to access the shoreline for a swim. Flat Rock with a sandy mixture makes up the shoreline, swim shoes are recommended for swimming.
On the side of the cottage there is a stone patio with comfortable furniture to enjoy the lake breeze or in the evening the outdoor fireplace and a view of the stars.
The cottage comes with the use of two kayaks and a paddle boat. These are very stable vessels and great for exploring all the bays and inlets along the shoreline.
Tobermory is a short distance away (9 km) on a paved road. There you can stroll through the shops in the village, visit the restaurants and the library and enjoy the beautiful natural harbour. You can also take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the Bruce Peninsula is a dream, and this great family cottage is the perfect place to enjoy your vacation!
