Centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula, this comfortable cottage is fully equipped and tastefully furnished.
It's wood and stone exterior and knotty pine interior provide a
warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nestled in the trees on a gentle
slope overlooking beautiful West Little Lake, this is a great choice
for families or small groups looking for a comfortable and relaxing
West Little Lake is located in the community of Lakewood on the Lake Huron side of the Bruce Peninsula. The lake provides glorious sunsets and a unique place to paddle and explore. A public beach for swimming and building sand castles is a short drive away.
With 2400 square foot, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, hot tub, and 105
feet of waterfront this cottage has all the charm you would want
with all the comforts of home to make for a memorable vacation.
You enter the two-level chalet on the main floor where you will
be welcomed by an open kitchen, dining and living room area. The
large open concept allows for easy conversation between those in
the living room, dining room, or kitchen. The main floor features
a pine vaulted living room ceiling, large bright picture windows
allowing you to appreciate the lake view and surrounding woodlands,
and a dining table with leaf for all your family to dine together.
There are double french doors from the dining room that provides
you with easy access to the outdoor upper deck.
Downstairs comfortable seating and large windows of the lakeside yard. A great spot for a relaxing morning, afternoon conversations, or enjoying an evening with your family. In the living room there is a 42" HD TV, with satellite and DVD Player. High speed internet is also available.
On the main floor there is a beautiful master bedroom facing towards
the lake it has a King size bed.
Also on the main floor is the Queen bed and the third bedroom with two singles.
Downstairs on the lower level you will find bedroom four with two
more singles and double French doors that lead to the lower deck
and bedroom five with the double futon.
Two 4 piece bathrooms are in the cottage with laundry facilities
available for you. A second refrigerator/freezer is available for
your use in the laundry room.
The lakeside elevated, tiered, outdoor deck gives a great vantage
point as you gaze out across the water and enjoy the fresh air.
The deck is a perfect spot to socialize, catch up with family and
friends, or relax with your favourite vacation beverage. There are
plenty of outdoor chairs and lounges for relaxing. The early birds
in your group can enjoy a quiet morning coffee. You can catch some
sun on the deck or use the patio umbrella to relax in the shade
and in the evening you can take in the summer sunsets while sitting
in Muskoka chairs next to the chimnea
There is a gas BBQ for grilling up some BBQ feasts, a hammock for
some quiet time and an 4-6 person hot tub. It’s just a short
stroll to the water where there is a lakeside deck provided for
you to sit and enjoy the sounds of West Little Lake.
If you wish to explore the lake, there is a kayak with paddle, one canoe with paddles and a Stand Up Paddle Board and 4 Adult life jackets available for your use during your stay. Little Lake is best used to paddle on and enjoy the wildlife that lives here. There is a grassed area where you can play bocce ball, badminton, crocquet or horseshoes and a fire pit where you can enjoy evening campfires, roasting marshmallows, taking in the starry night sky and sharing stories. At the west end of the lake there is a boardwalk to stroll along and multiple trail systems for hiking through the 350 wooded acres that encompass the Lakewood community.

Four stars out of Five. Good Screening from its one neighbour,
no neighbour on the other side.
Soft bottom at waters edge. Not the best swimming for children.
Public Beach is 8 km away, great for families.
