Knotty pine, three bedroom, 1074 sq ft cottage at Pedwell Point located across the road from the Lake Huron shoreline. Located just 10 km from Tobermory, this cottage is a great family retreat.
A number of features within the interior help to create a cottage atmosphere. The main living area boasts cathedral ceilings, an exposed loft area, and a comfortable sitting area surrounded by an electric fireplace. In this room you will also find a leather couch, chair and a double futon. A television with DVD player are perfect for entertaining on a rainy day.
The dining table is adjacent to the main living area and kitchen. A table and eight chairs allow all eight people in the party to enjoy a meal together while taking in the outdoor surroundings through the windows on three sides.
A gorgeous kitchen is just behind the dining table and a
small kitchen island is a great spot to enjoy a quick snack
or keep the chef company while they cook. A fridge, stove,
dishwasher and microwave, as well as ample cupboard and counter
space help create a functional space in which to prepare holiday
feasts.
Laundry Facilities are provided on the main floor.
The cottage has three bedrooms all finished in the knotty
pine. Bedroom one has Queen size bed and a juilet balcony
overlooking the lake. This is a great place to watch the stars
before bed, or enjoy your morning cup of coffee. Bedroom two
located, on the main floor, has a queen bed. Bedroom three,
located on the top floor, has two singles.
There are two bathrooms at the cottage. The main floor bathroom
has a toilet and sink and the second, on the upper floor,
is a four piece with tub and shower.
A wrap around deck outside the cottage (facing West & South) provides plenty of
space to soak up the sun and has a patio table with umbrella
and six chairs and 2 Muskoka chairs. There is a second deck
at the back that faces East. Here you'll find a propane BBQ and muskoka chairs,
both essential to cottage living.
Enjoy your evening by the campfire surrounded by 2 acres of nature.
The shoreline at the cottage is directly across the road and down a foot path, it will take you 1 minute to walk it. Once there, the shoreline is flat limestone rock with a gradual entry into the water.
This cottage is located within one kilometer of Singing Sands, a beautiful sand beach and a part of the Bruce Peninsula National Park. Tobermory and it's many attractions are located 20 kilometers from the cottage. |
