Newly constructed one bedroom apartment loft with private outside access, located on the shores of Lake Huron just 13 km from the village of Tobermory.
This one bedroom apartment has all the comforts of home for
you while on vacation. The apartment is bright and airy with large
windows and two sliding glass doors out to a private deck. The
outside deck has two chairs and a side table. This is a great
place to enjoy your morning coffee in the morning sun.
The open kitchen, dining and living areas have laminate floors throughout and a cheery decor.
There is a dining table in the eat in kitchen, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge are all provided for your stay.
In the living area, a couch and two armchairs surround a 32" smart TV with netflix.
The bedroom boasts a queen size bed, side table, chester drawers
and a nice size window.
The bathroom is a three piece with shower.
The apartment is also serviced with air conditioning to keep you cool on those hot summer days.
Although the lake is not visible from the apartment, The shoreline is only 50 metre walk away and has a large lakeside deck and Muskoka chairs, (Note this deck is shared with the owners of the property). You can view lovely sunsets from the shoreline of this property.
Access to the lake consists of some flat limestone rock with rubble. The water gets deep fairly quickly. Swim shoes are recommended.
The cottage comes with the use of two sit on top kayaks. These are very stable vessels and great for exploring all the bays and inlets along the shoreline. (Mid May - Sept)
The cottage is located on a paved road. Across the road forms part of the Bruce Peninsula National Park. It is a 12 km bike ride to Tobermory.
The scenic Village of Tobermory is located 13 km away. Take a trip into town and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants and the beautiful natural harbour, or take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream come true. Guided tours along the Niagara Escarpment, or the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron are available a 15 minute drive away.
