Enter into the open concept living room, dining and kitchen space. Take a seat on the couch or in either of the chairs and watch a movie using the 47" TV with satellite.
The well appointed, bright kitchen has many of the amenities of home including fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher. Just adjacent is the dining table so you can sit down for a meal together.
On the other side of the dining table is a small sitting area with two comfortable reading chairs and a lamp. There is a set of patio doors here that take you out to a small back deck overlooking the large private yard.
The cottage has three bedrooms - the master bedroom offers a queen size bed, another offers a Queen bed, and in the third bedroom there are two singles that would be perfect for the kids. The bathroom is a four-piece with a tub/shower combination.
In the back yard area there is a propane BBQ for grilling up those summer feasts, and a patio table and 6 chairs invite you to take a seat and eat outdoors in the fresh air. In the back yard is an outdoor fire pit so you can enjoy a campfire under the starry sky with your family.
It is just a short walk drive to either of the area's public beachs. The Dunks Bay beach is sandy with gradual entry into the water and great swimming in on Georgian Bay just 1.7 km from the cottage. Singing Sands beach is located on Lake Huron and also is a great beach for children it is 8.7 km from the cottage.
Tobermory is a short distance away (3 km) on a paved road. There you can stroll through the shops in the village, visit the restaurants and the library and enjoy the beautiful natural harbour. Cyclists can take the designated bike path from infront of the cottage along Hwy 6 into the village. You can also take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular.
For hikers, naturalists, cyclists and scuba divers, the Bruce Peninsula is a dream, and this great family cottage is the perfect place to enjoy your vacation!
