This neat and tidy cottage is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, just outside the village of Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula.
The cottage lot is grassy and slopes down to the lake. The shore
line has flat limestone and rubble rock. Gradual entry into the
water with good swimming.
The interior of the cottage has painted panelling throughout. A
bright and cheery feeling is provided by the nice lakeside windows.
The living area has a comfortable couch and two chairs, and a small
flat screen TV with DVD player to keep the kids entertained on a
Eat in dining table seats all six in your party, in the fully equipped
compact kitchen. There is a fridge, stove and microwave available
for your use.
One bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and the loft upstairs
is a good spot for the kids to hang out with 4 single beds.
The three piece bathroom, on the main floor, has a shower only.
Outside the cottage there is a large grassy area for the children
to play yard games or enjoy a campfire under the starry Bruce Peninsula
Enjoy your dinners outside with the propane BBQ provided on a nice
lakeside deck with a patio table, umbrella, and chairs. In addition,
there are adirondack chairs for relaxing in the sun.
A path leads down to a picturesque shoreline. At the water's edge, the rock is flat with shallow entry and swim shoes are recommended. Beneath the surface of the water, the bottom is flat rock.
If you are looking for a sand beach, Singing Sands Beach (part
of Bruce Peninsula National Park) is just 4 km away.
The shoreline contains wonderful rock formations, and is ideal for walks. It will delight the fossil and wildflower enthusiast. The cottage is truly an ideal retreat for the family that enjoys quiet and privacy, yet it is less than 20 km from the hustle and bustle of the working harbour at Tobermory.
