The "Canadian eh"!
This cute "A" frame cottage is located on Dorcas Bay on
the beautiful shores of Lake Huron. It's only 15 minutes from the
village of Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula.
The cottage lot is grassy and slopes down to the lake. A firepit and wood are provided for your campfire under the starry Bruce Peninsula skies. The shoreline has flat limestone and rubble rock, gradual entry into the water with good swimming. Water shoes are recommended.
The interior of the cottage was recently renovated providing our visitors with a clean and tidy vacation home. A bright feeling is provided by the nice lakeside windows.
The living area has a comfortable couch, two chairs and a small flat screen TV with a DVD player.
The eat in kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove and microwave for your convenience. The table is capable of seating all 6 in your group.
The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and the loft upstairs has four single beds. The kids will love lodging in the loft where they can have their own space to play on their iPad or just to hang out.
The Canadian eh! has a three piece bathroom on the main floor.
A nice lakeside deck with a patio table, umbrella, chairs and propane BBQ offer a secluded place for your outside dinners. In addition, there are adirondack chairs for relaxing in the sun.
If you are looking for a sand beach, Singing Sands (part of Bruce Peninsula National Park) is just 4kms away.
The cottage is truly an ideal retreat for the family that enjoys quiet and privacy, yet it is less than 20kms from the hustle of the working harbour at Tobermory.
