sq ft, 4 bedroom cottage located on the rocky edge of Big Tub Harbour
in Tobermory. Stunning views of the Lighthouse and the crystal clear
waters where Georgian Bay meets Lake Huron.
The whitewashed walls, cathedral ceilings, natural
wood beams, and propane fireplace, highlight the open concept main
(upper) floor of the cottage. Relax in the evenings and enjoy Netflix
(if you have your own account) or a movie on the 58" 4K Smart
TV with satellite. Access to this level is easily possible for those
with limited mobility.
All new appliances, including fridge/freezer (with
ice and water), stove, microwave and dishwasher make meal prep and
clean up a delight. A table with 6 chairs or stools at the kitchen
island offer lots of seating for your group.
The Master bedroom, on the main level offers a Queen
size bed, ceiling fan, and gorgeous ensuite with jetted tub, separate
curbless walk in shower with rainfall shower and 4 massaging jets
and double sink vanity.
On the lower level are the other 3 bedrooms. Two
of the bedrooms each have a Queen size bed and the fourth bedroom
has a single over double bunkbed and another single bed. The second
bathroom with tub/shower combination is on this level as well. The
fully finished rec room with pool table and 47" HD TV, Blu-Ray
player and couch and chair, offer a great secondary spot to relax
and unwind after a busy day outside.
For your convenience, a stackable washer and dryer
are available for your use as well.
The many decks offer 1700 sq ft of additional outdoor
living and relaxing space. Sip your morning coffee and watch the
boats go by or enjoy some quiet reading or napping time in the hammock.
A hot tub is also available for an additional fee.
Take some time to stroll through the shops of Tobermory,
visit the library, restaurants and see the beautiful natural harbour.
Scenic boat cruises to view shipwrecks and lighthouses are available
daily and a trip to Flowerpot Island is a must for all who visit!
Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular and
if that's not to your liking, there are many places to eat in town
where you can watch the beautiful sunsets and converse with friends.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area
is a dream come true. Guided tours along the Niagara Escarpment
and the shores of Dorcas Bay on Lake Huron are available. Amphitheater
programs presented at Cyprus Lake by Parks Canada staff are informative
and entertaining for all ages.
