With a beautiful field stone fire place, pine lined ceiling, large
beams and spiral stair case to the loft you feel like you’re
in a rustic cabin in the woods, yet with all the amenities of home.
You won’t want to miss the legendary sunsets that are synonymous
with Lake Huron. Just a 5 minute drive to Sandy Beach and 10 minutes
to Lion’s Head located directly across the Peninsula.
The main living room has lots of windows for viewing the lake and
is furnished with two large couches and plenty of chairs to accommodate
all the guests, a large TV with satellite and WIFI for your use
after a long day of water activities. A woodstove is centrally located
in the living area to take the chill off if needed.
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster
and coffee maker.
Two of the three bedrooms are on the main floor. The master bedroom
has a queen size bed and the other has two singles. The loft bedroom
has a double bed and two singles.
Outdoor living is exceptional here on the large lakeside deck furnished
with patio table and umbrella. On breezy days you can enjoy a BBQ
on the back deck. The shoreline is perfect for swimming, complete
with a dock for jumping from and watercraft. It will be difficult
to be bored at this cottage.
Centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula, this cottage is within
an hour of several small towns all situated on the shores of Lake
Huron or Georgian Bay. Each has its own unique character. Enjoy
the hustle and bustle of the harbour in Tobermory (50km) during
summer and watch the Chi-Cheemaun ferry depart for Manitoulin Island.
A fantastic area for hiking with Bruce Peninsula National Park and
the Bruce Trail nearby, opportunity to explore nature is abundant.
Lion's Head (10km) is a quiet, quaint village on Georgian Bay with
a lovely sand beach and playground. Wiarton (37km) is the larger
community in the area and Sauble Beach (51km) has a huge public
sand beach usually bustling with visitors.
