"Beyond The Hedge" Cottage, is located in
the quiet hamlet of Red Bay. On the shores of Lake Huron. It's just
a 6 minute walk away from Red Bay sand beach. This beach is great
for younger children with a sandy entry and a playground.
The cottage is situated on a decent size lot with
lots of privacy. Large lawn areas surrounding the cottage provide
a great area for the kids to play. Spend some quality family time
in the large backyard roasting marshmallows and hotdogs around the
The cottage is all on one floor and open concept.
The living area features hardwood floors and a large picture window looking out onto the front yard. You will find three comfortable chairs and couch surrounding a Television with Blu-Ray DVD Player.
The dining table seats six people comfortably. It is just adjacent to the living area. There is a door here that takes you out to the front step of the cottage.
The kitchen has all the amenities of home. It contains a fridge, stove/oven, and microwave. There is a decent amount of cupboard and counter space, with lots of prep area for those big family vacation meals.
The three bedrooms at the cottage each have a nice
size window. Two of the bedrooms each have a double bed and the
third bedroom has two sets of single bunkbeds allowing four children
to share a room.
A four piece washroom with bathtub and shower is located near the

good book on the roadside deck. The cottage allows much needed privacy
for your rest and relaxation.
Just a six minute walk from the cottage is Lake Huron.
The approach to the lake is sand. Entry into the water is very shallow
and provides a safe place for children to enjoy. There is also a
playground here for them to blow off a bit of energy.
The cottage is centrally located to other attractions
in the area. There are over 5 golf courses within a 35 minute drive
and there is great cycling on the miles of paved back roads in the
area and great mountain bike trails at Sauble Beach.
