Cute and cozy two bedroom, 776 sq ft cottage located on Hay Bay on the
shores of Lake Huron. This cottage is conveniently located just
3 km from Tobermory. Located on a dead end road, this
cottage offers a tranquil setting.
The main living area of the cottage is an open concept with the
dining room, kitchen and living room in one large open space.
The sitting area includes a couch, chair, TV with VCR, CD and DVD
player as well as an iPod/iPhone dock and a propane fireplace.
The kitchen in the cottage is bright and inviting, thanks to the
skylight. The fridge, stove, and microwave make preparing meals
a breeze, and an island provides extra space as well.
The highlight of the cottage is the sunroom. Floor to ceiling windows
provide a crystal clear view of the nearby water, and the many comfortable
seating areas make this a great room for enjoying a good book, or
just enjoying the view. A table with four chairs provides
the ideal place for a waterfront dining experience or a game of cards. Your family will love using
this bright space.
There are two bedrooms at the cottage. One has a double bed, the
other has a set of bunkbeds (single over double). The sunroom also has a sleeping space with a single bed. The one bathroom at the cottage
is a four-piece with a bathtub/shower combination.

and is a great place to unwind. Here you'll find a table and four chairs, the perfect place to sit and enjoy the view of Lake
Huron. A key element of summer cooking is the BBQ, which you'll
find on the deck along with a nearby picnic table
for your outdoor summer dining.
The shoreline at the cottage is honeycombed limestone, with shallow
entry into the water and good swimming opportunities. Swim shoes
There are 2 sit on top kayaks with 2 adults life jackets provided for you to explore the beautiful shoreline of Lake Huron during your stay.

Wonderful cottage for our trip!
Reviewed by readstooswift on 10/19/2016
Came here with my husband for our honeymoon and loved it! The cottage felt very homey and had all the essentials we needed to feel comfortable. We ate all our meals in the gorgeous sunroom - great view of the water and sunsets too! Good proximity to town and overall a great time had by all. We definitely plan to come back in the future!
Best experience at cottage

Amazing cottage. Really close to town. Right on the water. Kayaks available to use. Bikes also available. Nice new bbq to use. Nice and quiet area that is private with a nice private fire pit. Very very clean cottage with everything we needed. The owner was a phone call away if we had any trouble with anything. I would highly recommend this cottage for a couple or a small family.
Great, relaxing week in Tobermory

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The cottage itself was the perfect size. It had a great cottage feel while still being quite updated and clean. While the water is very shallow for some time it is great for swimming once you walk out far enough. I would recommend water shoes for the walk out though. The cottage is a 5 minute drive from Tobermory where we went numerous times for dinners, groceries and the shops. I would definitely stay here again for a wonderful, relaxing holiday on the water.
Beautiful quiet cottage on the bay

We stayed here for a week, and loved it. Location is great, on a quiet bay. Neighbours are far enough away that you don't sense them or see them. We enjoyed the kayaks, relaxing on the decks, and swimming. About 5 minutes drive from town. Perfect unpretentious cottage, in our humble opinions.
A home away from home

This was our family's first time renting a cottage and I believe we picked the perfect little spot to unwind. This L'Do Cottage had just about everything a family of 4 could need for a week away from home. The view from the back sun porch was absolutely spectacular. My husband and I would begin every morning with a coffee out by the water, listening to the waves lap against the rocks and watching the early morning sailors. My only disappointment was that we didn't have access to the washing machine in the cottage. I took one trip into the town laundromat or I would wash our clothes by hand. My husband's only dissappointment was we didn't have access to the owner's canoes; we had to rent those. We hope to be back next summer creating more memories. Yours truly, Brad & Tamara from Kitchener, Ont.
An amazing Experience

We had been to the area before and decided that it may be nice to spend time at a cottage. Each person has his or her own tastes but we were very very happy when we came into the cottage and saw that it was neat and clean and very comfortable. The view was simply beautiful and for two people it was the perfect size to be cozy and comfortable. It was private and yet close to the town itself and not far from any site seeing we wanted. We had all that we needed in the cottage. I enjoy cooking and there was more than enough room to do that as well as relax. We were so pleased that we are planning to come back next year as well. It was a wonderful experience all around.
pretty good,loved the sun room.

We've stayed two years in a row at "This-L-Do" cottage in Tobermory and will be returning again this summer.
This is a great, cozy little cottage perfect for two people and a small dog! We enjoy the peace and quiet of the location which is just a quick car ride from Tobermory proper.
Everything you need for a great cottage experience is here. We highly recommend!
Great Cozy Cottage!
Reviewed by bgolden74 on 01/27/2009
This was our first vacation at This L Do, and we were pleasantly surprised.
This cozy cottage had all the ammenities that we needed. This was a perfect retreat....far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tobermory, but still close enough for evening treks to watch the Chi-Chi-Mon set sail while eating ice cream cones!
We all enjoyed swimming throughout the days, and relaxed at the firepit for evening camp fires.
We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a "real" cottage experience!
Beautiful Sunsets - Very Private
Reviewed by Ozinga on 01/25/2009
We were happy with the cottage and the location. The sunsets were beautiful with swimming right outside the cottage, very short drive into tobermory or a nice walk. Very quiet area. It was well stocked for things to do (Some books, movies, puzzles and toys)and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The deck and sunroom are this cottages best features. The only downside is that is not the best property for small children. The cottage is used by the family as well and had alot of things for small hands to touch. The gas stove was nice for cool nights but a hazard for children. All and all a great cottage and property.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants time out from the daily routine and wish to enjoy the cottage air and enjoy the simpler things in life.
