This four bedroom waterfront cottage is 2000 square feet and is located
on the shores of Warner Bay near the historic Village of Tobermory.
This cottage has the ideal setup for two families by having two bedrooms
and a bathroom at either end of the cottage with a common central kitchen
and living room.
The open concept main centre area has a large living room with
cathedral ceilings, large stone fireplace, LCD television, Satellite, DVD,
VCR, and stereo with CD Player. Also in this area is the dining
area with table and chairs capable of sitting eight for dinner.
Also in this "main" area is a large fully equipped kitchen
with plenty of counter and cupboard space, fridge, stove and microwave
One of the nicest features of this cottage is the large lakeside sunroom,
with table, chairs, and other sitting area.
The flagstone patio and walkway surround three sides of the cottage.
The walkway will lead you to a sunny deck and a gently sloping shoreline.
Escape the hot sun on wooden loungers located on the flagstone patio
under the trees. Or just off the patio a second partial deck provides
access to the 4 person paddleboat, also located at the shoreline.
The cottage has a decent shoreline with flat limestone bedrock at the
waters edge and shallow entry. This is a good area for swimming; swim
shoes are recommended.
Whether you sit in the sunroom, on the patio or the deck, you will
get a great view of the sunset over Lake Huron.
The cottage is located near the end of a quiet paved dead-end road
with light traffic.
The scenic Village of Tobermory is located 13 km away. Take a visit
and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants
and the beautiful natural harbour, or take a scenic boat cruise where
you view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Also, dinner
cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are very popular.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream. A 10
minute drive away, guided tours are available along the Niagara Escarpment,
or along the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron. Amphitheater
programs are available at Cyprus Lake at dusk and are informative and
