Four bedroom waterfront cottage located on the shores of Eagle Harbour
only 13 km from Tobermory.
This raised cottage has all its living area on the second and third
floors. The main living area on the second floor, has natural pine woodwork,
large windows over looking the lake and an open concept design with
the living room and dining room in the same area.
The living room has a couch, comfortable chair with ottoman and
television. Adjacent to the living room
is the dining area with table and chairs suitable to sit six comfortably.
Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave
oven and plenty of counter and cupboard space.
Also on the main floor are two bedrooms, each with new comfortable
queen beds and a three piece bathroom (shower) and full laundry
On the second floor of the cottage is a large bedroom containing
three single beds, a TV with VCR and 2 comfortable chairs. A second
bedroom has a double bed with a great view of the lake.
There is a nice elevated front deck over looking the lake. This
deck has a patio set with umbrella where you can enjoy your dinners
while relaxing with a beautiful vista.
The cottage is located in a small bay overlooking a natural flat
glacially sculpted limestone rock shoreline with small trees.
At the shoreline there are some small pools of trapped water in flat
rock shallows and some rubble. If you walk past these pools you can
reach a flat rock shoreline with a shallow entry into the lake.
The bay is dotted with little islands, shoals and pools. This is a
great area to explore with the kayak supplied with the cottage.
The cottage is located near the end of a dead end gravel road. The
lands on the opposite side of the road form part of Bruce Peninsula
National Park. This is a great area for bird watching and quiet walks.
The scenic Village of Tobermory is located 13 km away. Take a visit
and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants
and the beautiful natural harbour, or take a scenic boat cruise where
you view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Also, dinner
cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are very popular.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream. A 10
minute drive away, guided tours are available along the Niagara Escarpment,
or along the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron. Amphitheater
