This nicely decorated cottage has a large living room with Cathedral
Ceilings, two massive windows facing the lake, a wood burning stove,
a full size couch, three comfortable seats, a colour TV, VCR, DVD
and stereo with CD Player.
Adjacent to the living room is the dining area with large wooden
table and chairs that seats six comfortably, the dining area also
has two large windows facing the lake.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, oven,
stove and fridge. With lots of cupboard and counter space for preparing
Doors from the kitchen lead out to a large 400 square foot elevated
deck with a wonderful panoramic view of the bay. This deck has two
Muskoka Chairs , a propane barbeque and a nice glass table patio
set with high back stools.
The cottage has three bedrooms, two are located on the upper level.
The master bedroom has a King bed with sliding glass doors leading
out to the lake side deck. The second bedroom has a set of bunkbeds
with a double on the bottom and a single on top, and two single
beds. There is also a bathroom with sink, toilet and tub on the
On the lower level is a basic family room with couch and chair,
a three piece bathroom with shower and large bedroom with sliding
glass doors leading outside and queen size bed.
The cottage is surrounded by trees and has a grassy area, with
a set of stairs leading down to the pebble beach on Georgian Bay.
The shoreline consists of a stunningly white pebble beach where
one can view the cliffs of Georgian Bay. You can also view
beautiful sunrises. A natural stone patio sitting area is located
on the beach.
The entry into the lake is shallow with flat rock gradually increasing
A two seater kayak is provided with the cottage for your enjoyment
of the lake.
The cottage is located within walking distance from the Bruce Trail
and Smokey Head Provincial Park. A twenty minute walk down the Bruce
Trial will bring you to Devil's Pulpit a large stone monument similar
to the rock formations on Flower Pot Island.
There are many attractions in the area. The cottage is located
close to the Village of Lion's Head with it's many stores and shopping
located a 20 minute drive away. There is a nice sand beach at Blacks
Creek (Sandy Beach) Provincial Nature Reserve only 16 km away. Bruce
Peninsula National Park and the historic Village of Tobermory is
only 1/2 hour drive away. You will find hiking, boat tours, and
lots of little shops in Tobermory.
The cottage is fully winterized with baseboard heaters, and a woodstove,
for the cooler mornings in the spring and fall.
