Two bedroom waterfront cottage, with sleeping cabin, located on the
shores of beautiful Miller Lake on the upper Bruce Peninsula.
Both the cottage and sleeping cabin have large lake side decks
that provide a view of Miller Lake.
The cottage's main living area occupies the lake side of the building.
The living room has cathedral ceilings done in tongue and groove
pine, sliding glass door, couch, two recliners, stereo with CD player
and 32 inch television with satellite receiver, and DVD player.
Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining room area. This
area has a large brick fireplace with insert. At one end is the
dining room with a wooden table and six chairs. At the other is
the kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave oven and adequate counter
and storage space.
There are two smaller bedrooms located in the main cottage. The
bigger bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a set of bunkbeds
with a double on the bottom and a single on the top.
The cottage also has a three piece bathroom with a shower.
As previously mentioned the cottage has a large 500 square foot deck,
which offers a partial view of the lake through the maple trees. The
deck has a glass patio table and chairs as well as a propane barbeque.
Next to the cottage is a sleeping cabin, this is a great place
for the kids to hang out. In the sleeping cabin there is a set of
single bunkbeds, and a SAUNA. There is also a nice small deck just
off the front of the sleeping cabin with some patio chairs to relax
in the shade.
The cottage is nestled in a hardwood maple forest, adjacent to
the cottage is a grassy lawn area and is a safe place for the kids
Stairs lead from the cottage down to the lake, these stairs have a
hand rail that makes travel back and forth manageable.
At the waters edge is a dock with steps leading down from a small
stone patio. A canoe is provided, which is a great way to explore
Next to the dock is a nice lakefront deck containing two Muskoka
chairs. There is also an outdoor firepit in this area.
Miller Lake is a large, clean, freshwater lake located at the centre
of the Bruce Peninsula. The lake has excellent fishing for bass, perch,
pike and pickerel. Boat rentals are available at the lake.
The lake's central location places it close to many attractions
on the Bruce. Excellent hiking on the Bruce Trail is only 6 km away.
Boat Rentals are available at the lake and in Tobermory, which is
only 30 km away. The area also has some great biking.
