Cottage Profile
Four bedroom, 1500 square foot cottage
located just 600 meters away from the beautiful
sand beach in the charming community of Southampton.
Cathedral ceilings with a skylight create a bright atmosphere in
the main living area. A large window faces out into the back yard
and the leather sofa and loveseat provide a comfortable place to
unwind. The satellite TV and DVD player serve the perfect distraction
on a rainy day.
The dining area is at the other end of this room and the maple
dining room table is spacious enough for all six in the party. A
set of patio doors lead out to the deck where you'll find a patio
table with chairs for six as well as a bbq for your outdoor dining
pleasure.
The kitchen is fitted with all the comforts of home like fridge,
stove, microwave and dishwasher. The ceramic tile flooring and recessed
lighting create a more modern look and a small table for two creates
a more intimate place for a cup of coffee, or seating so that the
cook in the family can have some company.
There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms at the cottage. Two bedrooms
and one bathroom are on the main level. One of the bedrooms on the
main level has bunkbeds with a double on the bottom and single on
the top while the other has a Queen sleigh bed. The bathroom is
a four piece with tub and shower.
The other two bedrooms are on the second floor of the cotttage.
The master bedroom has a queen sleigh bed and the luxury of a 27"
LCD TV with satellite. A fourth bedroom has two single beds. The
bathroom on the second floor of the cottage is a three piece with
shower. The hallway acts as a loft with a view into the living room
below and continues to create an open feel within the cottage.
The laundry room is located on the main level and the washer and
dryer make your stay a more comfortable one.
Just 100 feet from the cottage is the Saugeen Rail Trail, the perfect
place for a walk or bike ride to explore the area.
The cottage is located in a residenital/cottage community. It is
about 7 blocks, or less than a five minute drive to one of the nicest
public beaches in Bruce County. This beach is ideal for younger
children. It has a gradual entry with a sandy bottom and good swimming.
Also along this beach you will find a boardwalk that stretches for
about a mile.
The cottage is located in close proximity to a wide variety of activities
that Southampton has to offer. Enjoy a short walk to a lighthouse and
long pier, which is a perfect place for fishing, or to a restaurant for a meal out together.

to Chantry Island, take in some of the lovely shops, and enjoy Sunday
evening live entertainment at the local band shelter.
