The Cape Cod cottage is a four bedroom, 1600 square
foot cottage located close to beautiful Sandy Beach at Myles Bay
on the Lake Huron Shoreline.
The main living area of the cottage boasts a large
window and a wood fireplace. Comfortable furniture to unwind in
includes sofa, loveseat and armchair. The television comes with
satellite, a great distraction on a rainy day.
The kitchen at the cottage is fully equipped with
fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher as well as a small table
for a quick snack or a casual meal for two. There is ample counter
and cupboard space, which helps to make your holiday cooking a
little easier, and makes room for some help for the cook in the
A large dining room with seating for all eight in
the party allows your group to enjoy a sit down family meal together.
French doors lead from the dining room to a deck where outdoor
dining is also an option.
One bedroom is located on the main living level of the cottage.
This is a large bedroom, with big windows and a queen size bed.
A four piece bathroom is also on the main floor.
Three more bedrooms are on the second floor. The
master bedroom is another large room, with a King size bed, ceiling
fan and two rocking chairs. Bedrooms two and three both have 2
single beds, so there is plenty of sleeping space. A second four
piece bathroom is conveniently located on the second storey .
Full laundry facilities are also available.
Outside of the cottage is a large lawn, a great
place for kids to play. A firepit is available for evening campfires
and is a great place to take in the starry night sky.
The deck off the dining room has a patio table,
umbrella and eight chairs, as well as a propane bbq.
Sandy Beach is located just 800 metres from the
cottage, and is a fantastic beach for kids. There are public washrooms
and changerooms at the beach, so the family can pack a picnic
and stay for the day.
The Village of Lion's Head, just a short drive away,
offers a hospital, grocery store, pharmacy, bank and post office.
Enjoy a bite to eat at one of the restaurants or just take a walk
around town and browse in all of the little stores.
