This 1024 square foot, three bedroom cottage is elevated over Georgian
Bay providing a magnificent view of the bluffs of Cape Croker from
the upper deck.
The cottage is finished in natural woodwork throughout. It has
that cozy cottage feel with it's cathedral ceilings and skylights providing
an open airy environment.
Large floor to ceiling windows provide a panoramic view of Georgian
Bay right from the living area. The living area has a couch, two
love seats, and two chairs that all surround a nice wood burning
fireplace. This is a great place to enjoy a book on cool evenings.
Just off of the living area is the fully equipped kitchen. This
kitchen has everything you need for preparing your favourite meal.
You will find a fridge, stove, and microwave.
The wood dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and comfortably
seats six for dinner. The dining table also looks out over the beautiful
waters of Georgian Bay.
Up just three stairs off of the living room you will find three
bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a separate area
for sitting. Bedroom two has a double bed, and bedroom three has
two sets of single bunk beds.
A four piece bathroom is also located here.
The cottage has a large elevated deck that extends the entire length
of the building. This deck provides a great spot to soak up some
sun, or to cook up some steaks on the BBQ. Here you will find a
table and chairs for your outdoor dining experience.
Just down a flight of stairs, you will find a second mid level deck area,
if you are looking for a place to cool off in the shade, this is
it. Relax in one of the muskoka chairs, while taking a break from
the afternoon sun.
From this deck the lot gradually slopes to the shoreline. There
is another lakeside deck here, with some patio furniture. This is
a great place to watch the kids play in the water.
The shoreline is made up of smooth rocks which makes getting in
and out of the water easy. It gets deeper gradually, and swim shoes
The cottage comes with the use of 2 sit on top kayaks and a River
Runner R7 kayak. Get up early and explore the crystal clear waters
of Georgian Bay.
Another nice feature of the property is the lakeside fire pit.
Enjoy some warm summer evenings roasting marshmallows with the kids
while listening to the waves crash against the shoreline.
This cottage is located in a very private setting surrounded by
many trees and natural vegetation.
There are many activities in the area - the Bruce trail can be
accessed easily from the cottage. Swimming, fishing, and hiking
are all popular things to do on the Bruce Peninsula. The village
of Lion's Head is a short 15 km drive away where you will find a
grocery store, bank, hardware, and liquor store.
