This comfortable 930 square foot cottage is located across a large
grassy lawn from the shores of Lake Huron. The shoreline is rocky
at the cottage but still good for swimming and there is a sand beach
5 km away.
Trees surround most of the property, providing some privacy. There is a patio area at the front and to the side of the cottage (each with a door allowing access to the inside). On the front covered patio area there are cushioned chairs looking out at the lawn and lake beyond. There is also a patio table with cushioned seats and a BBQ available for use.
Lovely sunsets can be viewed from the lakeside deck down on the
waters edge. Relax with a glass of wine and a good book and watch
the skies over Lake Huron turn orange and pink as the sun sets in
Inside the cottage is an open concept main area with the kitchen, dining area and living room. The dining table is positioned in front of one of the windows that looks out onto the yard. The kitchen area has amenities such as a fridge, stove, microwave and wooden cupboards.
There is a comfortable living room area adjacent to the kitchen, and it contains a couch and two large chairs. A gas fireplace and 41" television complete the space.
In this cottage, there are 3 bedrooms. The first two each have
a queen size bed while in the third bedroom has a set of bunkbeds,
with a single on top and a double on the bottom. There is also a
washer and dryer located in this bedroom.
The yard at the cottage is large and grassy, the ideal place for
young children to play. Set up your badminton net and play all afternoon.
A large firepit area has been nicely landscaped at the cottage,
for your family to spend the evening together under the stary night
sky roasting marshmallows while listening to the waves lap against
the Lake Huron shoreline.
This cottage is located 20 km from the town of Wiarton, and 15
km from access to the Bruce Trail which is great for hiking. The
Howdenvale sand beach is 5 km from this cottage, and sunsets can
be enjoyed from the property itself.
