This cottage is located in a relaxing wooded setting, surrounded by a protected development called Lakewood. While this property does not have a waterview or water access, it isn't far from a sandy beach at Black Creek Provincial Park (8 km away) which provides great swimming opportunities for families with children.
A small inland lake is close by, with 6 km of walking trails. There is a boardwalk that leads around West Little Lake, and while the lake isn't good for swimming, it does provide great opportunities for canoeing, bird watching, and fishing. A canoe and paddles are provided for your use, so that the lake can be enjoyed.
At the cottage, there is a front porch with muskoka chairs. The porch wraps around one side also, which makes room for a BBQ and cushioned patio set with umbrella. There is also an outdoor fire pit available for use, as well as a hammock.
Inside the cottage is an open concept living and dining area. There
is a couch, comfy chairs and wood stove in one area, while a dining
table and 6 chairs sit near the patio doors, with a view of the
porch. There are wooden floors throughout this main area, including
in the kitchen where a breakfast bar with chairs is also available.
There are 2 bathrooms at this cottage; one is a four piece and
the other a three piece (with shower-also see limitations). A washer
and dryer are also provided.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one with a king, one with 2 double beds and one with 1 double bed.
Upstairs is the loft area, where a couch and game table are located. Some of the beds, as well as a bathroom are also located upstairs.
This cottage is located in the 'heart' of the Bruce Peninsula, and is a short drive from many different activities.
