The central Southampton location is best thing about this cottage - just
three blocks from the sandy public beaches and a half kilometre to High
Street shopping and dining. This 1200 sq ft property will
appeal to the Artist in you as reflected in the room decor and overall
Featuring 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a single and one
with a double and a single. "A Cedar Cottage" can serve as
home-base for a variety of things to see and do in the area. But if you
opt to stay in, you and your canine friend will enjoy the peaceful back
deck and fenced yard.
Simple, maybe even "Bohemian-chic" in style, this cottage
is a place to kick back and relax in the environment Southampton is so
well known for. The kitchen has a fridge, stove and microwave for meal
preparation while there is a dining table and six chairs to sit down for a meal together. In addition, there is a gas BBQ in the back yard. The living
area has a large screen to hook your computer up to (Netflix), DVD player, couch and a natural
gas fireplace for an evening curl up. High speed Wi Fi (Fiber Optics) will keep you in the loop while here.
Beautiful high-gloss pine floors are found throughout the cottage and
each of the two bathrooms has a European flair with bidets installed.
The front deck is surrounded by a little shady yard and good privacy thanks
to cedar trees and hedges. It’s an ideal place to stretch out on
the lounger for the afternoon after a light lunch at the bistro set.
Southampton is ideally located on Lake Huron and features some of the
most beautiful sunsets on the entire coastline, particularly with the
tourable Chantry Island Lighthouse in view.
You will be located right on the street leading to the area's multipurpose
trail where you can enjoy bike rides all the way to Port Elgin, often
directly along the scenic lakefront. The terrific Bruce County Museum,
Southampton Art School and the daily indoor Southampton Market are all
within walking distance too.
