Welcome to the Howdenvale Hilton! This cozy, three bedroom, 900 square
foot cottage situated on a double lot is just minutes from a nice sand
beach at Howdenvale Bay and only a 23 km drive to the beautiful sands
of Sauble Beach.
The cottage boasts a large wrap around deck. On the front part of the
deck you can sit and enjoy the sunny afternoons or take in the stunning
colours of the sky from the sunsets that Lake Huron is famous for.
The kitchen is bright with two floor to ceiling windows and is complete
with fridge, stove, microwave and plenty of cupboard and counter space
for ease when cooking meals. There is seating for 4 at the dining table
but not to worry if you have a larger family, there are additional seats
available so everyone can enjoy dinner together.
The main living area of the cottage has been done in cedar giving you
that cozy cottage charm and there is plenty of seating for everyone to
enjoy a night of TV, a family movie together, or perhaps to just curl
up and read a good book. There is also 2 floor to ceiling windows in this
room creating a bright atmosphere.
Off the main living area you will find a four piece bathroom and 3 bedrooms.
The master bedroom also known as "The Rainbow Room" has a queen
size bed, "Cloud 9" and "The Starlight Room" each
have double beds.
At the back of the cottage there is a nice deck that looks out over the
back yard. Here you can enjoy a nice meal or the adults can sit and relax
while easily keeping an eye on the kids while they run and play in the
nice green area.
Once you have finished dinner on the back deck and the sun has gone down,
you can move down to the adjacent patio and have a fun filled night telling
spooky stories, roasting marshmallows, and counting the millions of twinkling
stars in the dark sky above.
This cottage may not be right on the water, but you can still enjoy the
beach days of summer as only 400 metres away is Howdenvale Beach, a great
sand beach for kids or Sauble Beach is only a 20 minute drive.
The cottage is centrally located to other attractions in the area. There
are over 5 golf courses within a 35 minute drive, great cycling on the
miles of paved back roads in the area, mountain bike trails near Sauble
Beach and kite boarding in Oliphant. Sauble Beach also offers many stores,
restaurants and many other attractions.
