Enjoy your vacation on beautiful Kintail Beach in this 2 bedroom cottage
with lots of privacy. Escape from your world in the city to this beautiful
little spot on this gorgeous beach.
This cottage is bright and cheery. The living room has plenty of seating
around the wood burning fireplace perfect for those cooler evenings when
you want to play games or sit and read inside. Two comfy chairs face toward
the water so that you can enjoy the view while you relax. You can also
enjoy the well stocked eclectic library, or sit back and unwind while
listening to music on the stereo system.
The eat-in kitchen is clean and bright with newer appliances and everything you need to prepare meals for your family. There is a lovely view of Lake Huron from the kitchen window. There is also a dining table in the main living area with a great view.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed giving you lots of room to sprawl out after a long day of summer fun. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds with a single on the top and double on the bottom giving the kids plenty of opportunity to talk about their day before falling off to sleep.
There is a 3 piece bathroom in the cottage with a shower.
Outdoor living is wonderful here! There is an upper deck that runs the
total length of the cottage on the lakeside with brightly coloured
Muskoka chairs to relax in. Follow the set of stairs down to the beach
and you will discover a beachside deck which is also furnished with brightly
coloured chairs and a table with an umbrella. This is the perfect place
to sit and watch the kids swim and play in the sand or watch the beautiful
sunsets in the evening. A fire pit is available for roasting marshmallows.
The kids will also enjoy a game of bocci ball or horseshoes that are
provided for you at the cottage.
Kintail Beach cottage is located approximately halfway between the towns of Kincardine and Goderich on the shores of Lake Huron. Both communities offer markets on weekends beginning Victoria Day Weekend. They have their own little theatre companies and museums. Hiking is available on the boardwalks and along the Maitland Trail systems. Get closer to nature by visiting the Provincial Parks in the area. There are many opportunities to spend quality family time at this lovely location.
