Custom-built, 1800 sq ft, 2 bedroom waterfront cottage located

This three-level, stone timberframe cottage has maple hardwood
floors throughout, and pine baseboards and window frames. There
is also a multi-level deck that surrounds the cottage, giving you
plenty of opportunity to enjoy the fresh air!
Inside the cottage you'll find an open concept kitchen and living
area. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is complete
with a dishwasher and all the conveniences of home. Ample counter
space and the open feeling of the space will ease meal preparation.
While the 'cook' is in the kitchen, guests can sit at any of the
three stools at the breakfast bar and enjoy a coffee and a chat.
The dining table is situated by large, bright windows and will
seat four while the adjacent living room space offers two leather
loveseats that look out a large window. A ceiling fan overhead can
help keep the air circulating. (Please note, the fireplace at
the cottage is not for renters' use).
On this main level of the cottage there is a four-piece bathroom
with a double shower as well as a jacuzzi tub. Treat yourself! And
for your convenience, a washer and dryer are available as well.
Up the stairs to the second level of the cottage you'll find both
of the bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a queen bed, while the
second bedroom has a set of bunkbeds with a single over a double. The walls in these two bedrooms do not fully extend to the ceiling.
On this level there is also a three-piece bathroom with a shower.
In addition to the formal bedrooms, there are also two sleeping
alcoves, one on the lower level and one on the second level. There
is a double bed in the downstairs alcove, while the upstairs alcove
has a couch that pulls out into a double.
Another set of stairs will lead you up to the small third level
of the cottage - watch out, these stairs are steep! On this level
you'll find a small nook with a single padded chair, a 36"
TV with satellite and a DVD player. This is the perfect spot to
escape with a book or to getaway and sneak-in some television time
The outside of the cottage has plenty to offer as well! A propane
BBQ is available for you to cook up a feast, and you can sit outside
and enjoy your meal at the patio table, complete with umbrella and
six chairs. There are also two picnic tables so you can pick where
you'd like to sit.
After a great day of enjoying the sights of the Bruce Peninsula,
you can sit around a campfire under the stars, with the use of the
fire pit. A hot tub is also available to release your tension, after
a day of kayaking with the use of the two sit-on-top kayaks.
Down by the shore is the lakeside deck which has built in seats.
This is the perfect spot to take in a magnificent sunset and enjoy
the natural beauty of Lake Huron, including views of Devil's Island,
Russell Island and Cove Island.
The shoreline is a mix of flat rock and rubble, and entry into
the water is shallow before gradually getting deeper.
The cottage is located 2 km from the village of Tobermory where
you can enjoy shopping along the harbourfront, eating out, and taking
boat tours of Fathom Five National Marine Park. You also won't be
far from Bruce Peninsula National Park for outdoor exploration,
as well as just a quick drive to the sandy shores of Singing Sand
