Charming 1000 sq ft, three bedroom cottage located on the serene shores of Warner Bay on Lake Huron. Relax on the great deck by the lake and take in the sound of the waves and the feel of the fresh air while you enjoy your holiday at this cottage with its well-treed lot.
The interior of the cottage is done throughout in beautiful pine - the walls, ceilings and floors - giving the cottage an authentic 'cottage feel' that you'll be glad to come home to after each day of the activities and exploration you'll enjoy on the Northern Bruce Peninsula.
The cottage kitchen has all you need for meal preparation including fridge, stove, microwave and more. One wall opens to the living room beyond, making the space more open, while inviting conversations to flow between the living room and kitchen.
A dining table and four chairs are situated by bright windows and faces out to the lake, so you can even eat indoors with a view!
The living room provides a great comfortable space to relax in - sit in the cozy chair or on the leather couch and take in the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace on those cooler evenings. Or on warmer days, a ceiling fan overhead can help keep the air moving. In addition, for your entertainment, there is a 32" HD TV with satellite and a DVD player. Or just simply sit and enjoy the view out the large window that looks out to the cottage grounds and Warner Bay.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage. One of the bedrooms offers a queen bed and also has a TV with DVD player in the room. The second bedroom also offers a double bed while the third bedroom has a single bed with a single trundle.
There is one bathroom at the cottage and it is a four-piece with combination tub/shower. In the bathroom there is also a washing machine for your use. While there isn't a dryer, this cottage does offer a clothesline so you can dry any wet clothes or towels the natural way - with the wind!
The cottage offers sit-on-top kayaks and a stand up paddleboard
so the family can explore Warner Bay, or take one of the four bikes
out for a spin on these quieter cottage roads.
A great feature of this cottage is the separate deck, located just off the front of the cottage. Here you can enjoy the patio dining table with its six chairs, or enjoy the patio coffee table with its four chairs - great for your morning coffee or your after-dinner beverage.
A propane BBQ is offered for your convenience while a fire pit is offered for your outdoor enjoyment! The cottage shoreline is a mix of flat rock and rubble with gradual entry into the water. Great swimming opportunities exist, and swim shoes are recommended.
The cottage is just a quick drive into Tobermory (13 km) where you'll find great local shops and restaurants to eat out. Or you can enjoy a walk along the natural harbourfront, catch a boat ride and explore Fathom Five National Marine Park, or hike the trails at Bruce Peninsula National Park. There's much to see and do!
