Escape from the stress of the city and work and come to Red Bay Retreat - a newly constructed, 3 bedroom, 1200 square foot Viceroy Home on the shores of Lake Huron. Located near the small and intimate vacation hamlet of Red Bay, this prow-front home with floor to ceiling windows has a bright and airy atmosphere.
The main floor living room has a vaulted ceiling and lots of windows that flood the room with light. A spectacular feature of this room is the floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace which can be used to take the chill off of those cooler low season nights and add atmosphere to your family evenings. Your family can relax and watch your favorite DVDs on the 42" HD TV with DVD player and enjoy your movie on the home theatre system in this room.
Enjoy granite counter tops, stainless fridge/freezer with icemaker and a convection oven with an induction range top in the fully equipped eat-in kitchen/dining room. There is also a dishwasher in this kitchen. The dining room comfortably sits six people for your meals. You can also access the deck from the dining area. Enjoy a meal with a view of the water or linger over a glass of wine on the deck while you watch the spectacular Lake Huron sunsets.
The deck runs the length of the cottage. There are four Muskoka chairs here for you to basque in the afternoon sun. If you wish you can take the beach furniture provided down to waterside by walking down your private boardwalk to the sand beach.
There are 3 bedrooms in this home. The master bedroom with ensuite is on the main floor. This room has a queen sized bed and has access to the deck where you can sit and enjoy the sound of the water. There is also a new outdoor shower off this deck. There is a second bedroom on the main floor and it has a set of bunkbeds. You will find a third bedroom in the second floor loft overlooking the lake. That bedroom has a queen size. All beds have new high-quality mattresses.
In addition to the master ensuite bathroom, there is also a four-piece bathroom on the main floor.
There is plenty to see and do within a short drive of the cottage. The Bruce Peninsula offers hiking, watersports and spectacular scenery. As the home of two National Parks, several conservation areas and the Bruce Trail, there is no shortage of activities to enjoy. Don't forget to visit Earthbound Gardens in Red Bay, a lovely garden center specializing in Lilies.
