Pull up to the cottage and feel welcomed by the charming front deck with its Muskoka chairs that are practically calling to you to take a seat! Let the kids run around on the large grassy yard while you sit in the sun with a book.
Enter into the open concept living room, dining and kitchen space. Take a seat on the couch or in either of the chairs and watch a movie using the 32" TV with DVD player.
The well appointed, bright kitchen has many of the amenities of home including fridge, stove/oven, microwave and more. The kitchen island has two elevated chairs for you to sit and chat with the chef in the family or it can be a spot to sip your morning coffee. Just adjacent is the dining table so you can sit down for a meal together.
The cottage has three bedrooms - the master bedroom offers a queen size bed, another offers a double bed, and in the other bedroom there are two singles that would be perfect for the kids. The bathroom is a four-piece with a tub/shower combination.
Patio doors by the kitchen lead out to the back deck where there is a propane BBQ for grilling up those summer feasts, and a patio table with umbrella and 6 chairs invite you to take a seat and eat outdoors in the fresh air. In the back corner of the lot is an outdoor fire pit so you can enjoy a campfire under the starry sky with your family.
It is just a short walk from the cottage to Black's Point sandy beach, only about 500 metres away. Access is down the road and then following a municipal path. The beach is sandy with gradual entry into the water and great swimming in Lake Huron for the whole family.
The cottage is a short 10 minute drive into the community of Goderich where you'll find the conveniences of shops, restaurants, groceries, attractions and more. Goderich also has a great public sandy beach that you can enjoy if you wish! Visit the Huron County Museum in town or take a scenic rural drive out to a play at the Huron Country Playhouse. There's plenty to do and see in the area from playing a round of golf at a local course or hiking the trails in Point Farms Provincial Park.
