Fully equipped, three bedroom, 1500 square foot waterfront cottage
located on beautiful Rainbow Beach just 15 minutes from Owen Sound
on the shores of Georgian Bay.
The main living area of the cottage features natural pine woodwork
throughout with large windows facing the waterfront and sunsets.
Two couches and two chairs provide comfortable seating in the living
room, and a gas fireplace is a treat on a chilly evening. A television
with satellite is available here to keep the family occupied on
a rainy day.
The kitchen at the cottage is fully equipped with fridge, stove,
and microwave to make cooking convenient during your holiday. A
table with eight chairs is provided for your group to enjoy a family
The Florida room at the cottage is yet another attraction of this
property. This screened-in room faces the lake, and provides some
extra room at the cottage. Enjoy a bug free evening, and enjoy watching
the sun set over the water from the comfort of the cottage.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage. The first bedroom has
a wonderful King size bed, as well as an ensuite bathroom. The second
bedroom has a queen, and the third bedroom has two sets of single
over single bunkbeds. There is also a second bathroom at the cottage.
One bathroom is a three-piece with shower, the other is a four-piece
with a shower/tub.
The rec room at the back of the cottage has a ping pong table,
which is a great distraction on a rainy day, and good fun for everyone
in the party.
The cottage is located in a private setting with forest behind,
on a well treed lot with gardens that wrap around the cottage. There
is a large yard for the kids to run around and play volleyball or
badminton (net supplied). A tree-bordered deck is located lake side
and provides a magnificent view of Georgian Bay with spectacular
sunsets. As Owen Sound is a large ship port, sailboats, and large
commercial ships pass by on the bay occasionally.
The cottage is close to many attractions and is only a five minute
drive to Owen Sound with its shopping opportunities, restaurants,
museums, theatre and art galleries.

RENTAL START DATES: Weekly rentals run from Saturday at 4:30 pm to the following Saturday at 10:30 am.

The cottage is private on three sides, a small cottage is
located to the south.
The shoreline is shallow entry with a gravel base.
There is a stone break-wall extending from the shore out
to the lake. The water depth from the side of the break-wall
is usually 2-5 feet, but please note water levels vary
Water shoes are recommended.
There is a sand beach located 7 km away at the Hibou Conservation
Cottage not designed for wheelchair.
The entire cottage is on one floor, and there is one step
to enter the cottage, and two down to the sun porch.
