On your way to the property you will travel country roads and experience
picturesque villages, forests and farm fields. When you arrive,
a winding driveway takes you to the cottage tucked behind the trees.

room there is a buffet, hutch and table that easily seats six people.
The compact but efficient kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and more. Outside there is a fabulous newly constructed two level deck. The patio table, chairs and BBQ are on the upper level. The large lower level deck has plenty of room for chairs and there is an eight-person hot tub. In the rear yard you will find a fire pit where you can enjoy storytelling and roasting marshmallows under the starry sky.
Throughout the property you will find groomed trails provided by the owner for your enjoyment. As an added bonus the cottage owners, who also own the surrounding 140 acres of farmland, live at the next farm down the road. You can visit them to arrange for various seasonally available farm products. You can also enjoy about three-quarter miles of groomed walking trails on the farm along the forest edge that lead to Wilcox Lake where you can take a dip in the water, try your hand at fishing, or enjoy a picnic lunch.
There is plenty to see and do in the area. Take your camera and explore the beauty of Hogg's Falls, Eugenia Falls, and Walters Falls (one of Ontario's few twin falls). Spend a few hours or an entire day on some of the cycling and hiking trails including the Bruce Trail and the Grey County Rail Trail that cross the owner's farm, or explore the world of 'birding'. Visit one of the area famers markets, play one of the local golf courses, stroll the streets of the heritage towns and villages in the area and explore unique gift, antique shops, and artist and artisan galleries.
