This 1200sq ft cottage, located steps from the Lake, is the perfect family vacation getaway. Salerno Lake is nestled in an area of absolute tranquility, beautiful wilderness and is only 2 hours north of Toronto.

The cottage is open concept, which allows the water view to be enjoyed from all living spaces. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with all the conveniences of home.

Enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Your family will love having a marshmallow roast under the big beautiful stars, without any city lights obstructing the views.

Salerno Lake is home to Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Perch, Walleye, and Muskie. For the kids, it also has Rock Bass, Sunfish, and Crayfish. It is also not uncommon to see Moose and other wildlife in this area.

SHORELINE

• Flat rock shoreline on right side of dock, gradual entry into the water. On left side of dock there is a diving board and ladder for swimming

CHILD SAFETY ISSUES

• No apparent child safety issues.

PRIVACY RATING

• Four stars out of Five. There is a cottage on either side, both are 50 feet away with good screening.

DOCKING FACILITIES

• The nearest boat docking facilities are located at the cottage. Dock is 24 feet long, depth is 10 feet. 20 foot long boat can be docked here. A boat can only be launched on the North West side of Salerno Lake.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

• Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access.

LIMITATIONS

• Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
• There are 65 stairs from parking lot to the cottage and 60 stairs to the lake. They zig zag back and forth which makes them easy to use.
• Blankets are not supplied
• Pets are negotiable
• Smoking is not permitted in the cottage, however it is permitted outside.
• Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
