This cottage is nestled on a section of shoreline that is very flat and boasts some of the best swimming on the lake with shallow water and hard packed sand. The grassy lawn is flat and leads right up to the water's edge where you will find some shoreline rocks in place to prevent erosion. With the western exposure, you will enjoy beautiful sunsets from the either the waterfront area or the large cottage deck. A patio set and comfy Muskoka chairs await you to provide that relaxing experience of cottage life. Some mature trees provide shade from the summer sun and the cool breeze off the water provides the kind of relief from the heat that can only be found in cottage country.
Inside the cottage, there's a large kitchen and the dining area has tall windows facing the lake to provide a wonderful view of the water while the sliding glass doors give easy access to the patio. The bedrooms and 5-piece bath are all located on the upper level which has another entrance way that leads in from the parking area.
Great swimming, great sunsets, great times. Yours to enjoy. In the winter months, Hidden Valley is the best place to learn or hone your mountain skills. For those who are not keen on skiing, enjoy the "Fire and Ice" Trail nightly on weekends at Arrowhead Provincial Park, where they light up a 1.3 kilometer skating trail through the trees. Arrowhead also offered winter hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The town of Huntsville lights up the night sky with the Eclipse walk, perfect for all ages especially with a thermos of hot chocolate!
