Gorgeous sunsets on the dock await you at this beautiful 4-season, 2,400 sq. ft., 3 level, 4 bedroom cottage on tranquil Menominee Lake. Located right in the heart of Muskoka cottage country, this is the perfect family vacation getaway!
Step into the cottage and immediately be drawn in by breath-taking views of the lake from a wall of floor to ceiling windows stretching across the open concept kitchen/dining/living room. This main living area is bright and spacious with soaring cathedral ceilings, warm wood floors, comfy furnishings and a stunning stone fireplace. The kitchen will be a joy to prepare meals in with modern stainless steel appliances, an expansive kitchen island and plenty of counter space for prepping meals. Enjoy a late night movie with after dinner drinks in the living room or head down to the lower level for a game of foosball while watching the sports channel.
The sleeping accommodations are well laid out, with bedrooms on every level. The master bedroom is on its own loft level, complete with a 3 piece ensuite, two bedrooms are on the main level, tucked in behind the main living area with a 4-piece bathroom in between them, and the fourth bedroom is on the lower level just off of the family room.
Start your days with breakfast on the deck and settle into your beautiful surroundings, listening to the haunting call of the loons while watching the mist rise off of the lake as another glorious day in cottage country begins. The screened-in Muskoka room, just off of the deck, is the perfect spot for reading or playing games on inclement days, while still feeling one with nature. With kayaks and stand-up paddle boards at your disposal, spend endless hours paddling on the lake taking in all that mother nature has to offer. The water depth at the end of the dock is 5 feet deep, great for swimming, and for fishing enthusiasts smallmouth bass is abundant!
For a change of pace head into the historic towns of Huntsville or Bracebridge, both just a 20-25 minute drive away, both offering dining, shopping and entertainment. And just a 5 minute drive away is the quaint village of Baysville with charming local shops, small eateries, ice cream and the popular Lake of Bays Craft Brewery. End your days back at the cottage with a BBQ dinner on the deck and then gather round the fire pit for music and stories while watching the amazing sunsets, life is good!!As one of the more popular areas, excursions into Baysville and Dorset are a must. Small towns filled with local favourites like Humble Pie, the original Lake of Bays Brewery, or ice cream from Miss Nelles. Mark O'Meara, Deerhurst and Bigwin Golf courses are within a short drive as well as the famous Robinson's General Store which is a one stop shop for all your needs with a local twist.
