Welcome to your place to unplug and get reacquainted with nature, this traditional cottage is the perfect place for a small family or two couples to reconnect while disconnecting from the everyday routine. The main floor has an open concept allowing everyone to be involved in the conversation regardless of who is cooking dinner! As you make your way down to the water, enjoy a gradual descent through the trees bringing you to the edge of the shore. With a dock platform, bring lunch down and dine lakeside!Bigwind Lake is known for its pickerel fishing and for those feeling adventerous take the kayak or peddle boat out to explore Gull Island. Don't forget to pack some snacks! For day trips the historic town of Bracebridge can be found 30 minutes away with local restaurants and plenty of artisan shops. Bigwind Lake Provincial Park is an amazing place to enjoy scenic hikes and mountain bike trails. Bigwind Lake is crystal clear as it is spring fed and one of the cleanest lakes in Muskoka, fabulous for swimming! Gravenhurst has a remarkable Farmer’s Market (open from 9am to 2pm every Wednesday in the summer) down by the Muskoka Wharf.
