The upper level has 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms, with the beautiful lake-facing master bedroom having its own 3-piece ensuite. Across from the other 2 bedrooms is a 5-piece bathroom, one of the owner's favourite spots to retreat to after a full day of adventure to take a long hot bubble bath in the Jacuzzi tub! The lower level has a fourth bedroom and a cozy family room with a foosball table and large sectional couch, perfect for late night movie watching.
The expansive lawn that gently slopes down to the 250 feet of waterfront is ideal for the kids to toss a ball or frisbee. Sandy beach at the shoreline with shallow entry to the lake making it great for young and old alike, while the long dock extends out to deep water, beckoning for cool refreshing jumps into the lake. If you love a winter wonderland, you're in luck! Snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding provide endless opportunities for adventureAt the time and still today, Jones Bay is arguably the most ideal location on the lake due to the all-day sun, stunning sunsets, deep natural forests, abundant wildlife, near perfect water quality and of course fishing. Rent or bring your own boat and explore Lake Manitouwabing as it is one of the larger lakes in Northern Ontario, full of islands, and for avid anglers, bass, pike and pickerel are in abundance. Over the years, Lake Manitouwabing and the surrounding area have become one of the most sought after summer and winter vacation destinations in North America. The lake water quality is some of the best in Canada.
Parry Sound is only 20 minutes away where you will find all shopping amenities, quaint shops, great restaurants and is the home of the 30,000 Island Queen Cruise scenic tours. For golf enthusiasts, The Ridge at Manitou golf course is one of the finest in Canada and is in the process of expanding to meet the needs of local and visiting golfers. It also offers some of the finest dining in the region. For nature lovers, one of the very few UNESCO Biosphere Reserves is nearby. As beautiful as the summers are here, enjoy this idyllic setting all year round. The peace and solitude of ice fishing, skating on the lake and winter walks can’t be beat. You can even snowmobile directly from the cottage onto the frozen lake and onward to an abundance of Ontario (OFSC) trails. Spend cozy winter evenings indoors by the fire while watching snowflakes fall on the trees through the windows and then wake up to a “Winter Wonderland.”
