We spent a week in August at “B and G Lookout by the Bay”. The cottage was lovely, very comfortable, well organized, clean, well stocked and was just the right size. The property was just gorgeous – we loved sitting on the deck, or down on the lawn by the lake, and we really enjoyed having a swim on some of the hot days (make sure you wear water shoes!). We enjoyed a couple of movie nights, the owners have a fantastic selection of DVDs. And we enjoyed a couple of nights with a fire under the stars. I loved getting up early and watching the sunrise – awesome!! I loved the rock-paintings throughout the property, and there was some great bird watching, too. The outdoor deck has some beautiful views. There is a lot to do nearby this cottage: we went to Owen Sound; we hiked the Bruce Trail; had ice cream at Big Bay, we golfed twice at nearby courses; we visited Coffin Ridge Vineyards; we walked the paths at Greystone Retreat; and we went to Sauble Beach one day for a boat tour & lunch.
We really enjoyed this cottage, and are thankful for being able to use it! I highly recommend this cottage.
