We loved our stay at this cottage! My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old baby and our dog. I had a really hard time finding a cottage that would allow larger breed dogs so I was so happy to find this one.
I love that the cottage is basically one big open living area with a gorgeous view right on the water. We also loved the fireplace – we rented in late September so it was lovely to have that cozy warm feeling when you come inside. The bedrooms were comfortable with a decent amount of storage. Good pillows on the beds and real duvets! (I can’t stand cheap comforters).
Our dog loved swimming in the bay. The rocky shore makes for a bit of a precarious walk to the water but nothing too treacherous. Maybe not suitable for really little toddlers. The water is beautiful and clear with flat rocks on the bottom. We would have loved to go swimming if the weather was warmer during our stay.
The cottage is located just minutes away from Lion’s Head where you can pick up any essentials you nights need, plus do some fun shopping for gifts. But not on Sundays – everything is closed on Sundays.
All in all, we absolutely loved our stay here and we hope to be back next year!
