Waterfront Cottage with Outdoor Kitchen/BBQ

Four bedroom, 1500 square foot, waterfront cottage located directly west of Lion's Head on the shores of Lake Huron. The cottage boasts spacious living space both inside and out with an impressive covered outdoor BBQ/kitchen with bar stool seating.

The lot on which the cottage is located is flat and gradually slopes down to the lake. The shoreline is rocky with some flat areas.The cottage has a western exposure with beautiful sunsets overlooking Lake Huron. There is also a great view of the offshore islands on Lookabout Bay.

The cottage is located close to many local attractions while the community of Lions Head with its stores and shopping is located a 20 minute drive away. There is a lovely sand beach at Blacks Creek Provincial Nature Reserve only 15 km away. The Bruce Peninsula National Park and the picturesque village of Tobermory are only a 30 min drive away where many opportunities exist for hiking, boating and further exploring.

SHORELINE

• Rocky shore line with some flat rock areas, shallow entry. Swim shoes recommended. There is a small, man-made sand area at the shoreline.

• Three stars out of Five. There are cottages on both sides with adequate natural (tree) screening

DOCKING FACILITIES

• None on site. Commercial boat launch and docking located 4 km away.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

• Cottage not designed for wheel chair access.

LIMITATIONS

• Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Smoking is not permitted inside, it is permitted outside.
• Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
