Beach House Cottage is a charming 1600 Sq Ft, five-bedroom, multiple-decked cottage built to feel like it has belonged by the lake for a century. You will not likely find a better beachfront setting.

The cottage will provide you with a wonderfully secluded vacation and at the same time, is close enough to explore stylish Bayfield (20 minutes south) or quaint Goderich (12 minutes south) or Kincardine (15 minutes north). Both communities offer a wide range of services including main street shopping, dining, festivals & events, galleries and museums; the Ben Miller Inn and Spa is a quick 10 minute drive away.

The Blyth Theatre is a wonderful, original Canadian theatre only 15 minutes away or drive to the world-class theatre in Stratford, just 65 minutes east. This is a true first-class couples’ or family beach retreat.

SHORELINE
- There shoreline is a sand/gravel mix with gradual entry into the water. Great for kids. The stone stairs down to the water can be difficult for children and those with mobility issues. Spring of 2022 the owners will be adding a pole/rope railing for added stabilty going up and down the steps.
CHILD SAFETY ISSUES
- The railings on the decks are a thick cord wire and can open wide if leaned on. Children should be watched around these areas. - No docking facilities
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
- Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access.
LIMITATIONS
- Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Parking area will accommodate a max of 3 SUV sized vehicles or smaller; 2 parked side by side and then the 3rd parked length wise behind.
- Baseboard heaters not for guest use.
- The lower windows in the kitchen and living room are not to be opened.
- Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
