This year was our third time up at this beautiful, private cottage. We got lucky with wonderful weather, sunny days and a full moon over the bay. It is the perfect escape from big cities and from the busy little town of Tobermory. The new grocery store on Hwy 6 is a game changer!
The deck is perfect to do yoga on and the entire place has a super zen vibe! We will be back, and hope that it will be available. Hotels have gotten so expensive in Tobermory and paid parking is hard, plus beach space is tight.
Why suffer that when you can have your own private beach and free parking! I don’t know why anyone would miss out on this gem.
Best,
Elif & Craig

Like many families this year, we looked for a local stay and boy were we glad we found this idyllic, beautiful, peaceful cottage. Nestled amongst trees that are full of blue jays and other sweet birds, this cottage is nothing short of magical. The cottage is compact, with one bedroom in the main cottage, but the bunky provides ample space for the kids. Our boys loved the campfire, the fishing and walking around the property. The sunrises were gorgeous and the water glistened at sunsets. The property reminded us of our stay in California, up by Half Moon Bay, very much a Yoga Ashram vibe. It is going down as one of our best cottage experiences, ever!
The cottage is immaculate – very clean, very well kept and very safe. The neighborhood is quiet, and although there were lots of people around, you hardly heard anybody. It is about a 15 minute drive to Tobermory, where there are lots of restaurants and a great little grocery store. The wifi was great in the main cottage and we were able to login and use our streaming services. We spent almost everyday outside on the patio, watching the water and enjoying coffee from the coffee shop up around the corner on Hwy 6.
We just wish the water was warmer and we could have stayed longer. If you get a chance to stay, don’t miss out on it.
