If you are looking for a nice, private family get-away look no further - Deer Lakehouse is just the place for you. This a brand-new cottage (built in 2022) with over 2500 sq feet of living space. It has four bedrooms and sleeps 10 people comfortably. When it comes to choosing a cottage, Deer Lakehouse checks almost all the boxes.
Deer Lake (also known as Nulty Lake) is a small peaceful lake that does not have a public boat launch. This means there are less boating and fewer motorized boats on the lake, which makes it ideal for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing anytime of the day. Jump right off the dock and enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful Deer Lake.
The beautiful sunset view is to die for. This cottage is westward facing, which allows you to sit on the dock and soak in the full glory of the sun as it sets before it gradually disappears into the horizon.
The is the perfect place to spend quality time with your family and close friends away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Deer Lakehouse is located on a 13.5-acre property with 450 feet of waterfrontage. This means there is no visible neighbour to worry about. This cottage is also located about 15 minutes from Highway 11 so there is no noise pollution from the highway traffic. Peace and tranquility is what you will enjoy unless you are bothered by the chirping of the birds. The deer visit the cottage often during winter but you may be able to see them during summer if you are lucky.

The pictures for the cottage are beautiful, yes, but not as beautiful and perfect as the place itself! We had all that we needed: water, relaxation, nature, privacy and comfort; just the right space to unwind with family. And an extra bonus was that Art was so wonderful from the beginning until the end of our stay, kindly making sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying the cottage and area (speaking of which, we encountered such lovely people in this part of cottage country). Art even shared some local outing ideas. One of our best cottage rental experiences in our 20 years of renting in Ontario! Deer Lakehouse = beautiful memories!

What a beautiful cottage and location. We spent four days and three nights here and we hated to leave. The cottage is a house with numerous amenities and beautifully finished, and accommodated six of us easily, with plenty of room to spare. Top notch kitchen and bathrooms, and a huge, beautiful deck with multiple seating areas to enjoy meals or lounge in the sun. There is tons of privacy due to the size and location of the lot, and the neighbours we did encounter were extremely friendly (and helpful!). The lake is beautiful, water is clear and you can easily see 10+ feet down. Our girls loved the canoeing, the peaceful water, and the sunsets were gorgeous. We would give this experience a 10 out of 5 if we could.
