Please Note: The water levels in Ontario have been fluctuating in recent years. Therefore, some of the photographs of shorelines/beaches on this website may not fully reflect current waterfront conditions.

Private, four bedroom, two-level cottage on the shores of Eagle Harbour, Lake Huron. The cottage is Located on a 200' double lot near the end of a dead-end paved road, while the unoccupied land on the opposite side of the road forms part of Bruce Peninsula National Park. There are no visible neighbours on the deck (north) side. This is a great area for bird watching and quiet walks. You will find the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional family cottage.
The property includes a new double garage (2021), with a stone-work entrance way, upper loft with sky lights, and a new ping pong table and bicycles in the lower games room.
The lake side of the cottage is completely natural with foot paths leading to the lake with more than 200 feet of shoreline. The shoreline forms a natural swimming pool from a local 100 foot bay carved out of the limestone rock by glaciers during the last Ice Age. This is an outstanding and unique feature that all can enjoy, from toddlers at the shallow end (with supervision) to boaters and swimmers as the depth increases toward the open lake. The shoreline consists of flat limestone rock which angles sharply into the lake at the deep end of the bay, and gradually at the shallow end. A dock projects into the deep water part of the bay that is suitable for canoes or kayaks, but not large motor boats. With the prevailing on-shore winds, warmer water accumulates in the bay for an exceptional swimming experience. Farther out, Eagle Harbour is dotted with little islands, shoals and pools. This is a great area to explore with the two canoes supplied with your stay at the cottage!
Near the water, there is a large stone barbeque in which you can build a wood fire, and gather with friends or family to grill steaks or have a wiener-roast. There is also a standard propane BBQ near the cottage.
The scenic village of Tobermory is located 13 km away. Take time to visit and stroll through the shops in the village, visit the library, restaurants and the beautiful natural harbour, or take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Dinner cruises aboard the Chi- Cheemaun are also very popular. For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream!
