Wonderful stay

By: Trip Date: 08/21/2021

We absolutely loved this cottage. It is so close to the crystal clear water and the cottage is cozy and clean inside with a great deck. There was even a lovely bottle of wine left for us to enjoy from the owners, which was very sweet. We have two kids and a dog who were all very comfortable and happy here. We are definitely going to try rent it again next year.

Perfect relaxation, a true eden.

The cottage was clean and had a perfect lay out. Walk out and there you are surrounded by the sound of waves, nature and friendly chipmunks that desire peanuts.
If a laid back, quiet and private holiday is what you seek then this cottage is wonderful. Especially for a couple.

perfect stay!

What a perfect week! The cottage was idyllic – new, renovated and spotless. The pictures do a good job of representing the view from the deck and inside the house, but it’s much more stunning in person. The water was the clearest we’ve ever seen and with water shoes, it was really enjoyable to swim and kayak in. (Kayaks provided by Jim). The fireplace, which we enjoyed every night, and new appliances (including bbq) were a great touch. Jim was very responsive and even came by with some extra propane for us so we wouldn’t run out. The town was close-by that has everything you need (except a pharmacy – closest one is in Lion’s Head), and there’s even a little bakery that had incredibly amazing butter tarts that we took home with us. We loved our week and will definitely be back!
