Another wonderful stay at 377 Red Bay!

By: Trip Date: 06/03/2023

There needs to be a rating of 10 for this cottage! The comfort…the quiet…the cleanliness can’t be understated! Beautiful location with plenty of room for any kind of activity or just relaxing by the lake. You don’t need any more than 377 Red Bay!

Bliss in the Bruce!

By: Trip Date: 10/01/2022

Not only the sun setting over Huron as its waters gently lap the property’s edge; more than the towering maples lording over the endless cedar, with the occasional shock of those lovable anarchists, the poplars and birches; much greater than the quiet tranquility of getting away from cities… but we digress.

There couldn’t have been a more welcoming, comfortable, and all-around homey environment for our family of five (two very youngn’s and a large dog, alongside the two adults) to relax and recoup in. From the well-stocked kitchen to the sorted and stacked logpile, with helpful, friendly notes everywhere, the cottage simply said: ‘glad to see you!’

Not only do we highly recommend taking your own kith and kin to experience this gem – you might have to move quickly before we try to book it up!

1 bazillion out of 5.

Beautiful cottage, great beach

By: Trip Date: 06/26/2021

Beautiful cottage with high ceilings, natural light and real wood floors. The pictures don’t do it justice. The light filtering in all day long makes it a wonderful place to be even when the weather is bad. We had lots of rain and enjoyed the indoor fireplace on the cooler days. Beds were comfy and bathroom was so nice.

The beachfront on this property is so shallow and sandy, it’s always warm even on cool days, perfect for small kids. There are lots of boats available to use but this definitely isn’t a fishing spot. Great spots for fishing close by though.

Thank you for hosting us, we would love to return some day!

This place is amazing! Peaceful with beautiful clear water that is shallow for some distance with a sandy bottom so great for kids! They have everything you need from life jackets, canoe, kayak, toys, books and all the kitchen essentials of course!
We have already enquired about booking again next year we did not want to leave!!

Simply relaxing..

Ontario is filled with so many beautiful cottages that we have been to over the years. But we keep coming back to this one. Friendly owner, goes above and beyond to help her guests. The corner playroom/sunroom is always a hit with the kids. So is the sandbox outside and the treehouse. Wonderful shallow sandy bottom beach. Fairly private. No nuisance or loud neighbours. Has several watercrafts. Generous yard space.

So Great!

This little peace of heaven was exactly what we needed, especially with everything that is happening in the world right now. Cottage sits on a beautiful picturesque lot, looking out at the bay. Sunsets are stunning! Beds were comfortable, the owners touched base with us a few days into our stay, just to make sure everything was ok? They really were quite lovely and had some great hiking trail recommendations!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of heaven!
