Very private, compact, 576 square foot, two bedroom cottage located at Sydney Bay on the undeveloped shores of Georgian Bay. Experience the unparalleled views of the Niagara Escarpment in the quiet privacy that Keeshigonong has to offer.

An environmentally conscious cottage, this cottage is powered by solar panels and supplemented by a generator for back up.

A firepit is available for your family to enjoy an evening campfire. This is an ideal time for you to catch a glimpse of the starry night sky away from the lights of the city.

If you hike north along the shoreline for about a half-hour you will reach Cape Croker Park. Restroom, shower and laundry facilities are available here.This park also offers natural trails, beach volleyball and native cultural activities - many artists and craftspeople of the Nawash reserve can be found here.

SHORELINE
- Shoreline consists of clay and flat limestone rock. Gradual entry. Great fossils for the kids to explore. There are two sand beaches close by one at the Cape Croker Park and one 2 km away.
CHILD SAFETY ISSUES
- No apparent child safety issues.
PRIVACY RATING
- Five Stars out of Five. Keeshigonong is located on family property. Access to the East via a trail behind the cottage. Access to the West property is via the single lane road immediately beside the cottage. Family use this access frequently.
DOCKING FACILITIES
- No docking facilities on the property. Boat launch facilities are located .5 km from cottage at the Cape Croker Park
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
- Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access.
LIMITATIONS
- Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
- Pets are negotiable; 1 pet max, $25 pet fee/pet. Cats are not permitted. Dogs must be non shedding.
- Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
