This 2000 square foot, three bedroom plus sunroom ( bedroom ) waterfront cottage is located on a private dead-end road just 1.5 km from a beautiful public sandy beach in the village of Lion's Head. The cottage has spectacular views of the Niagara Escarpment and great swimming.

Across the small dirt road is one of the prettiest shorelines on the Bruce Peninsula. Miles of cobblestone beach can be walked upon. If you head south up the shoreline you will eventually come to the historical Lion's Head Lighthouse and Marina. It is about a 1.5 km walk by shoreline. If you head north along the shoreline the cobblestone turns to flat limestone rock and you can walk for close to 3 kilometers before coming to the end.

There are number of unidentified shipwrecks in Lion's Head Harbour; the most shallow is a 42-metre long schooner that can be easily seen from a kayak. Looking out from the Lion's Head Beach you can see Point Hangcliffe, the highest section of this section of the escarpment, and farther along, at the end, you can detect the outline of the famous lion's head. There is excellent deep water fishing for salmon and trout in the area. Lion's Head and this cottage are the perfect match for your next family vacation.

SHORELINE
- There is a small road that runs between the cottage and the shoreline access. There are two cottages beyond this cottage. It is a quiet dead-end road. The shoreline is cobble stone, with great swimming. Swim shoes are recommended.
CHILD SAFETY ISSUES
- No apparent child safety issues.
PRIVACY RATING
- Three stars out of Five. The cottage has a neighbour on each side with some screening.
DOCKING FACILITIES
- No docking facilities on site. Lion's Head Marina is 1.5 km away
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
- Cottage is not designed for wheel chair access.
LIMITATIONS
- Individuals 16 years of age or older count as adults.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Upper floor of the cottage is not accessible to guests
- Renters are responsible to do a full clean of the cottage (cleaning supplies provided) and remove all garbage/recycling at the end of the rental period. If this is not done cleaning/garbage disposal fees will be charged. Please see full cleaning list HERE.
